Mr Gauld, an NFU member from Inverurie is delighted with the installation of his 10kw Solar PV system.
He complimented all the staff at UKFM Renewable Technology staff for all their hard work and assistance from initial enquiry through to completion.
Another completed contract…another 10kw Solar PV system fully commissioned in Inverurie – yet another happy customer!!
Today is the start of another confirmed order for 10kw Solar PV install in Inverurie!! Well done guys!!
New emission rules came into play today for Biomass Boilers which means there are quite a few boilers especially the type being used by farmers to dry grain etc that will no longer qualify for payments. Fortunately our HDG Biomass Boilers we supply in partnership comply with all new regulations as they are the cleanest available on the market.
Below are some of the details of the changes when it was agreed in the summer;
DECC’s Iain Mathieson gave this answer:
The date we intend to ‘make’ the regulations, which include emissions limits for biomass boilers, is September 23rd, subject to Parliamentary approval. If we are able to make the regulations as planned, they would come into force on September 24th. These regulations are scheduled to be debated in Parliament on 9th and 10th July.
We will be beginning stakeholder engagement over the coming days to ensure the industry is prepared for the introduction of the limits.
So to clarify …
For reference, the emission limits are:
UKFM were delighted to be invited to visit the first “Solar Meadow” to be installed in Scotland at the Edinburgh College in Dalkeith, Midlothian. The £1.2m investment will see the development of 2500 solar pv panels provide free solar electricity to the campus for years to come. With a number of our agricultural and commercial clients looking to do the same type of developments on there land or at there business we are grateful to Professor Steve Tinsley for allowing us to have a great site visit.
If you think this type of development could suit your business, college or farm contact David Lewington on 07553 283210.
Come and meet the UKFM Renewable team and find out how we can help you take advantage of renewable energy such as Solar Photovoltaic, Biomass Wood & Pellet Boilers, Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps. The Renewables team are delighted to support the event sponsored by Aberdeenshire Council!!!
A wee photo from the summer road shows across Scotland culminating in the fantastic Turriff show. As part of UKFM’s partnership with NFUS we were invited to sit around the table and discuss renewable energy and the benefits to farmers and the country alike with the First Minister. Our Business Development Manager, David Lewington is pictured behind Lorna Paterson (Regional Manager of NFUS Scotland) and First Minister Rt Hon Mr Alex Salmond MSP. AS UKFM installs a number of larger scale grid connected solar systems we were able to share some of the frustrations of slow grid offers and tariff changes with the expert panel who agreed there have been many successes and the North East in particular has grabbed the renewable energy bug!!!
I should be thanking you for explaining everything to me in
The installation was
so smooth and the team were a great bunch of guys – hard working with good
We were also pleased with the
report and feel we have already added value to our property. Craig was really
thorough and clearly knows his stuff – again he was very helpful.
We appreciate all your help and advise
Our Biomass team is working hard on a number of individual domestic systems, commercial & district heating systems before any possible tariff cuts at the end of the year. Get in now to avoid being disappointed!
A new Department of Energy and Climate Change report has found that yet again support for solar projects is very popular and has the backing of the majority of the people.
After many sleepless nights and a fair bit of blood sweat and tears we have finally launched the new website. Keep watching for industry related news updates, case studies and special offers. Special thanks to our partners at Orbital Junk and in particular Jono and Colin who put up with our changing needs> We think you have done a great job guys!
